Iron Maiden Musique Collection: Mon premier blog a été fait sur overblog. Puis, à cause de soucis techniques, j’ai migré vers Eklablog. Cela fait maintenant plus de 7 ans que j’écris régulièrement des articles sur les produits musicaux de mon groupe préféré : Iron Maiden.
Iron Maiden reste mon groupe de cœur, le premier que j'ai écouté en 1980 et auquel j'ai tout de suite adhéré. Tout me plaisait dans ce groupe: la musique et l'imagerie avec leur mascotte, Eddie. Et au fil des années je n'ai que rarement été déçu par eux.
Mais un collectionneur passe dans sa vie par plusieurs étapes : l’excitation du moment, de l’achat, la frénésie de la recherche, la joie de découvrir un tirage inédit, etc. Mais cela prend du temps et il y a un an j’ai souhaité lever le pied et acheter moins de produit.
Je vous propose donc, de temps en temps, sans me fixer de timing, un article sur un produit, CD ou vinyl, (fini les cassettes car j’ai revendu presque tout mon stock il y a un an). Je ne m’impose plus de contrainte comme au début, à vouloir écrire un article par jour. J’ai d’autres centres d’intérêts dans la vie, ma famille notamment, et il ne faut pas passer à côté de certaines choses…
J’espère que vous prendrez autant de plaisir à lire mes articles que j’en ai à les écrire et que, comme moi, vous apprendrez surement des choses sur un groupe sur lequel on pense déjà tout savoir !

Iron Maiden Music Collection: My first blog was done on overblog. Then, due to technical concerns, I migrated to Eklablog. For over 6 years now, I have been writing regularly about the musical products of my favorite band: Iron Maiden.
Iron Maiden remains my heart band, the first one I listened to in 1980 and which I immediately joined. I liked everything about this band: music and imagery with their mascot, Eddie. And over the years I have rarely been disappointed by them.
But a collector goes through several stages in his life: the excitement of the moment, of the purchase, the frenzy of research, the joy of discovering a new print, etc. But it takes time and a year ago I wanted to step aside and buy less product.
So I propose you, from time to time, without fixing my timing, an article on a product, CD or vinyl, (finished the tapes because I sold almost all my stock a year ago). I do not impose any more constraint as at the beginning, to want to write one article per day. I have other interests in my life, my family in particular, and I don’t want to miss things....
I hope that you will take as much pleasure in reading my articles as I have in writing them and that, like me, you will surely learn things about a band on which we already think we know everything !
