    Retour en terrain connu avec un tampon embouti comme prévu en ce début d'année 1983 pour ce tirage Français de Flight of icarus. Fini les tampons encrés donc. Ce tirage RMC est complet avec les références sur la pochette, les labels et un insert RMC. Voyons cela en scan:

   Return to known ground with a stamped stamp as planned at the beginning of 1983 for this French edition of Flight of icarus. No more ink stamps, then. This RMC print is complete with the references on the sleeve, the labels and an RMC insert. Let’s see this in scan.

   Le tampon embouti est visible en bas à gauche de la pochette. J'ai déjà expliqué que ce tampon pouvait se voir sur les différents angles en fonction du placement de la pochette sous la presse. 90% du temps le tampon se trouve dans l'angle supérieur droit, mais de temps en temps il a été placé sur un autre angle car l'opérateur n'a pas voulu faire pivoter la pochette:

   The stamped stamp is visible in the bottom left of the cover. I have already explained that this stamp could be seen on the different angles depending on the placement of the cover under the press. 90% of the time the buffer is in the upper right corner, but from time to time it has been placed on another angle because the operator did not want to rotate the cover.

   Et l'insert RMC. Là aussi cet insert indique que le disque n'a pas été écouté sur les ondes radio. La pochette et le vinyle sont donc dans un état impeccables:

   And the RMC insert. Again, this insert indicates that the record was not played on radio waves. The cover and vinyl are in perfect condition.

   Ce 45 tours, premier tirage Français pour Twilight zone, est donc un autre disque promotionnel avec le tampon encré. Détail très important que j'ai omis dans mon premier article: la couleur de l'encre. En effet cela n'est pas visible et je n'y ai pas fait attention, mais cela se voit très bien sur la pochette ici. L'encre utilisée est bleue. Ce n'est pas anodin car je l'ai souvent observé en noir sur des 45 tours. Mais en général le dos de la pochette était blanc, ce qui n'est pas le cas avec Iron Maiden où les fond sont souvent noirs. Du coup une encre bleue a été utilisée pour faire ressortir le texte:

   This 7', first French edit for Twilight zone, is therefore another promotional disc with the stamp inked. Very important detail that I omitted in my first article: the color of the ink. It’s not visible, and I didn’t pay attention to it, but it shows very well on the cover here. The ink is blue. It is not trivial because I often observed it in black on 7'. But in general the back of the cover was white, which is not the case with Iron Maiden where the backgrounds are often black. So a blue ink was used to highlight the text.

   La date d'entrée dans la discothèque RMC est le 24 avril 1981, pour une sortie initiale le 2 mars. Cela se voit mieux au dos, au niveau du tampon promo, car sur le devant de la pochette le 24 est masqué par le fond noir du miroir du dessin.

   The date of entry into the RMC disco is April 24, 1981, for an initial release on March 2. This is best seen on the back, at the promo stamp, because on the front of the cover the 24 is masked by the black background of the mirror of the drawing.

   Et enfin l'insert de suivi des écoutes est vierge de note. Cela signifie que ce 45 tours n'a jamais été diffusé à l'antenne, où que cela n'a pas été noté dessus.

   And finally the tracking insert of the listenings is blank note. This means that this 7' turns was never broadcast on air, wherever it was not noted on.

   Deuxième 45 tours de la discothèque RMC et deuxième belle surprise avec ce tirage promotionnel Français. Je vais maintenant noter dans le tableau récapitulatif la couleur de l'encre du tampon promo. Car cela peut varier...
