   Autre titre Brésilien que j'ai acheté lors de cette convention est ce CD de The number of the beast. Je vais faire court et rapide c'est exactement le même produit que le Killers de l'article précédent. Avec une exception.

   Another Brazilian title that I bought during this convention is this CD of The number of the beast. I will make it short and quick, it’s exactly the same product as the Killers from the previous article. With one exception. 

   En effet c'est bien un tirage de 1991 et tout est identique pour les crédits et la conception des jaquettes, sauf la matrix du CD. Ce si Killers était 100% Brésilien, The number of the beast possède un CD qui a été gravé en Angleterre ! 

   Indeed, it is a 1991 edition and everything is identical for the credits and the design of the covers, except the matrix of the CD. If Killers were 100% Brazilian, The number of the beast has a CD that was burned in England! 

    La matrix de ce CD est EMI Swindon, comme tous les tirages de cette époque en Europe. Alors pourquoi un un CD gravé en Angleterre sur un CD Brésilien. D'autant plus qu'on a vu que celui de Killers a été gravé par Sonopress, au Brésil. Je ne vois qu'une explication. Le manque de capacité pour Sonopress de graver la totalité des CD pour ces rééditions. Et donc quelques milliers de CD ont été gravés par EMI Swindon et envoyés ensuite au Brésil pour être inséré dans les boitiers.

   The matrix of this CD is EMI Swindon, like all the prints from that time in Europe. So why a CD burned in England onto a Brazilian CD? Especially since we saw that the one from Killers was engraved by Sonopress, in Brazil. I only see an explanation. The lack of capacity for Sonopress to burn all the CDs for these reissues. And so a few thousand CDs were burned by EMI Swindon and then sent to Brazil to be inserted into the boxes.

   Je n'avais pas encore de CD Brésilien pour Killers. J'ai donc été heureux de l'acheteur en avril 2024 lors du Megarecord, chez le même vendeur que le CD Colombien présenté précédemment. 

   I didn’t have a Brazilian CD for Killers yet. I was therefore happy with the buyer in April 2024 during the Megarecord, at the same seller as the Colombian CD presented previously. 

   Sa référence est EMI Odeon Fonobras 752019 2. Pas encore de de code barre sur le dos du boitier. Il s'agit donc du tirage initial Brésilien en CD:

   Its reference is EMI Odeon Fonobras 752019 2. No barcode yet on the back of the case. This is therefore the initial Brazilian print on CD: help for dating.

   Comme indiqué dans les crédits sur la couverture arrière, ce produit a été fabriqué à Manaus. Cette ville a été le principal lieu de production des produits EMI en direct ou en sous-traitance via l'usine Sonopress.De plus l'année 191 a été imprimée, ce qui nous aide pour la datation.

   As stated in the credits on the back cover, this product was manufactured in Manaus. This city was the main production site for EMI products live or subcontracted via the Sonopress factory. Moreover, the year 191 was printed, which helps us with dating.

   Et en effet si on observe le CD, notamment le verso, on peut lire que la matrix a été gravée par Sonopress. Par contre on ne voit pas d'Ifpi. Ceci est normal car on sait que les premier Ifpi sont apparus en 1994:

   And indeed if we observe the CD, especially the back side, we can read that the matrix was burned by Sonopress. However, we do not see an Ifpi. This is normal because we know that the first Ifpi appeared in 1994.

   Pour ce pays il existe un tirage avec code barre que l'on peut dater de 1996, bien entendu le remaster de 1998 et un digipack de 2015. Je ne les possède pas. Peut-être un jour !

   For this country, there is a print with a barcode that can be dated from 1996, of course the remaster from 1998 and a digipack from 2015. I don’t own them. Maybe one day!

   Me voilà de retour après de longues vacances et le Hellfest. Je suis reposé et plein d'énergie pour vous proposer de nombreux articles sur mes achats lors du Megarecord d'avril 2024, du Vandisc d'avril 2024, du Hellfest de juin 2024, du Vandisc d'avril 2025 et enfin du Hellfest de juin 2025, sans oublier quelques produits acheter en boutiques. Il ne me reste qu'un 33 tours du Megarecord à vous monter, puis des CD, avant d'enchainer sur le Vandisc 2024. 

   I am back after a long vacation and the Hellfest. I am rested and full of energy to offer you many articles about my purchases during the Megarecord in April 2024, the Vandisc in April 2024, the Hellfest in June 2024, the Vandisc in April 2025 and finally the Hellfest in June 2025, not forgetting some products bought in stores. I only have one 3LP of the Megarecord left to put up for you, then some CDs, before continuing on the Vandisc 2024. 

   Ce tirage de No prayer for the dying vient d'Afrique du sud. Sa référence est EMI Music South Africa EMCJ (L) 5404. La pochette arrière comporte beaucoup de crédits avec également un code barre 0077779514212:

   This edition of No prayer for the dying comes from South Africa. Its reference is EMI Music South Africa EMCJ (L) 5404. The back cover has a lot of credits with also a barcode 0077779514212.

   Un autre crédit intégrant le nom de l'imprimeur figure en bas à droit de la pochette. Il est indiqué que c'est SEBRI Printers qui a réalisé ce travail. Et ce nom change tout. Car ce n'est pas un tirage Sud Africain que j'ai sous les yeux, mais un tirage qui vient du Zimbabwe !

   Another credit incorporating the printer’s name appears at the bottom right of the sleeve. It is indicated that it is SEBRI Printers who carried out this work. And this name changes everything. Because it is not a South African print that I have in front of me, but a print that comes from Zimbabwe !

   En effet on ne retrouve pas cet encart avec SEBRI pinters, qui est donc un imprimeur Zimbabwéen, sur le tirage Sud-Africain. Et, autre différence, les labels sont plus orangés que jaunes. Le voici:

   Indeed, we do not find this insert with SEBRI pinters, which is therefore a Zimbabwean printer, on the South African print run. And, another difference, the labels are more orange than yellow.

   Si je résume, le tirage Sud-Africain et Zimbabwéen sont très similaires. D'ailleurs le vendeur, pourtant spécialisé, me l'a vendu comme Sud-Africain. Et c'est en écrivant cet article que j'ai compris que le pays n'était pas le bon. Les références sont identiques et ils potant tous deux la mention EMI Music South Africa. Le label est identique à part la couleur, et l'encart de l'imprimeur est réellement la seule grosse différence.

   If I summarize, the South African and Zimbabwean print are very similar. Moreover, the seller, although specialized, sold it to me as a South African. And it was while writing this article that I understood that the country was not the right one. The references are identical and they both mention EMI Music South Africa. The label is identical apart from the color, and the printer’s insert is really the only big difference.

   Et pour confirmer son origine, le sticker rond de la boutique MUSIC collé sur la pochette indique la rue Abercorn, qui se trouve au Zimbabwé. 

   And to confirm its origin, the round sticker from the MUSIC shop stuck on the cover indicates Abercorn Street, which is in Zimbabwe. 

   Et tout cela fait que je suis très heureux car je possède mon premier produit venant du Zimbabwé, tant en vinyle qu'en CD !

   And all this makes me very happy because I have my first product from Zimbabwe, both on vinyl and on CD !
