Enfin un CD Japonais ! Depuis le temps cela me manquait. Je ne vais pas revenir en détail sur toute l’historique Japonais avec Iron Maiden car je vais, d'ici quelques semaines, écrire un article plus long sur les CD Japonais pour permettre à ceux qui ne connaissent pas trop ces tirages de se familiariser avec des subtilités. D'autant plus que pour Dance of death, le titre présenté dans cet article, je ne possède pas trop de matériel.

I am not going to go back in detail on all the Japanese history with Iron Maiden because I will, in a few weeks, write a longer article on Japanese CDs to allow those who do not know these prints to familiarize themselves with subtleties. Especially since for Dance of death, the title presented in this article, I do not have too much material.
Sa référence est EMI Toshiba TOCP 53779. Il s'agit d'un retirage 2006 de l'édition de 2003 comme l'indique au dos de l'obi le visuel de A matter of life and death. Classiquement ce produit comprend: le livret Japonais, un insert Japonais en noir et blanc, l'obi et le CD:

L'obi est noire avec le texte rouge, blanc et jaune. Outre le visuel du nouvel album de 2006, une autre indication nous permet de connaitre l'année de cette réédition, à savoir la date au dos du boitier et de cette obi: 6 septembre 2006. Quasiment 3 ans après la sortie initiale de Dance of death qui est indiquée au 3 septembre 2003. Et la troisième date est classiquement celle de la fin d'offre du prix réduit (1500 yens), soit le 5 mars 2007 (6 mois):

L'insert Japonais en noir et blanc n'apporte pas de surprise, de même que le CD. Je reste nostalgique de cette époque où EMI rééditait des CD en modifiant la totalité des références et des dates sur le produit, en moyenne tous les 2 ou 3 ans, notamment pour fêter la sortie d'un nouvel album !
The Japanese insert in black and white does not bring any surprise, as the CD. I remain nostalgic of this time when EMI reissued CDs by modifying all the references and dates on the product, on average every 2 or 3 years, especially to celebrate the release of a new album !
